FY 2026 Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) - Planning

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program helps rural organizations build the multi-sector partnerships and foundational capacity needed to develop and sustain comprehensive substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) service systems. Funded activities focus on network development, community needs assessment, and service provider preparation. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants are state, county, city, or township governments; special district governments; independent school districts; faith-based organizations; public institutions of higher education; federally recognized Native American tribal governments; public housing and Indian housing authorities; nonprofits; private institutions of higher education; for-profit organizations; and small businesses.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $4 million

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants are state, county, city, or township governments; special district governments; independent school districts; faith-based organizations; public institutions of higher education; federally recognized Native American tribal governments; public housing and Indian housing authorities; nonprofits; private institutions of higher education; for-profit organizations; and small businesses.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $60 million

FY 2026 Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Other Related Disabilities (LEND) 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program improves the quality of care for children and youth with autism and other developmental disabilities (DD) by training health and related professionals to screen, diagnose, and provide services for them across the lifespan. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants are state, county, city, or township governments; special district governments; faith-based organizations; Native American tribal government and organizations; nonprofit organizations; and public, state-controlled, and private institutions of higher education.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $38.3 million

FY 2025-2026 Railroad Crossing Elimination (Crossing Safety) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program funds highway-rail and pathway-rail grade crossing improvement projects that improve the safety and mobility of people and goods. Projects may include grade separations, track relocations, signal and device upgrades, and related planning and design activities. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants include states, political subdivisions of states, federally recognized Indian tribes, local governments, public port authorities, and metropolitan planning organizations.
