Today, NSDA sent a letter of support for Fixing Emergency Management for Americans (FEMA) Act (H.R. 4669) addressed to the Chairman and ranking member of the Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure.  Disaster Response, Recovery and Resilience is an adopted priority issue to watch for all special districts across the Country, therefor, NSDA supports  the bill.   NSDA also  highlights that while the bill includes special districts within the definition of local governments, we are recommending the passage and/or incorporation of the definition outlined in HR 2766.
