FY 2026 Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) Alternative Funding Arrangement
WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports partner-driven conservation projects that co-invest NRCS resources with partner contributions to address on-farm, watershed, and regional natural resource concerns. More specifically, RCPP Alternative Funding Arrangements (AFA) provide funds to an eligible partner to implement eligible activities on behalf of eligible producers on eligible land. AFAs are intended to reimburse projects led by partnerships that clearly demonstrate their capacity, resources, and ability to provide technical and financial assistance to benefit conservation implementation. The expectation is that AFA Partners will be ready to implement the project quickly. Click here for more information.
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible lead partners include agricultural or silvicultural producer associations; state/local governments; Indian tribes; farmer cooperatives; water, irrigation, and conservation districts; organizations with water delivery authority; water/wastewater treatment entities; institutions of higher education; organizations with an established history of working with producers on agricultural land; and entities with a farmland/grassland protection program that purchases agricultural land easements.

FY 2026 Maternal Produce Prescription Program (MP3)
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to fund community-based organizations to develop produce prescription intervention programs that promote access to healthy foods for pregnant and post-partum women and their families in low-income and underserved areas. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants include state, county, city or township, and special district governments; tribal governments and organizations; independent school districts; nonprofit organizations; institutions of higher education; and for-profit entities including small businesses.
TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $13 million

Department of Homeland Security
FY 2026 Port Security Grant Program (PSGP)
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to strengthen port-wide risk management and protect critical marine transportation infrastructure from acts of terrorism, major disasters, and other emergencies. Funding supports implementation of Area Maritime Security Plans (AMSPs), Facility Security Plans (FSPs), Vessel Security Plans (VSPs), and other port-wide security efforts. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants are port authorities, facility operators, and state, local, and territorial government agencies subject to an area maritime security plan.
TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $95 million

FY 2026 Transit Security Grant Program (TSGP)
WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides funds to public transit agencies to protect critical surface transportation infrastructure and the traveling public from acts of terrorism. Funds support security investments in planning, operational activities, equipment, training, and exercises aligned with current national priority areas. Click here for more information.
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants are limited to passenger rail, intra-city bus, and ferry systems identified in the solicitation’s allocation appendix.
