The House Appropriations Committee released its draft FY27 Transportation-HUD funding bill in advance of tomorrow’s subcommittee markup. Under the draft bill, the Department of Transportation would receive $28.3 billion in discretionary funding—approximately $1.177 billion above the FY26 enacted level—while the Department of Housing and Urban Development would receive $71.38 billion, nearly $6 billion below the FY26 enacted level.
