FY 2027 AmeriCorps Seniors Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Competition
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering. Funding will support projects that engage people who are 55 years old and older in a diverse range of volunteer activities that will improve their own lives by staying active and civically engaged. FY 2026 Implementation of the Quagga and Zebra Mussel Action Plan (QZAP) in the Western United States
WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will fund proposals in the listed principal areas towards the fulfillment of the top priorities in the Quagga/Zebra Mussel Action Plan for Western U.S. Waters (QZAP 2.0) and will be limited to states within the boundaries of the Western Regional Panel within the United States. The goal is to provide a systematic and unified approach to prevent the spread of zebra and quagga mussels into and within the western United States in the future. Click here for more information.

FY 2026 National Fish Passage Program (NFPP)
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to restore ecological connectivity in the nation's aquatic systems to the maximum extent possible to reconnect fluvial and tidal processes, helping native fish and other aquatic organisms access various habitats needed throughout their life cycles. Technical and financial assistance will be provided to remove instream barriers and restore aquatic connectivity, improve community safety, and support local economies. FY 2024-2026 Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost-saving Transportation (PROTECT) Competitive Grant Program
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to fund projects to improve the resilience of the surface transportation system, including highways, public transportation, ports, and intercity passenger rail. Program goals include protecting: surface transportation assets by making them more resilient; communities through resilience improvements and strategies that allow for the continued operation or rapid recovery of surface transportation systems; coastal infrastructure; and natural infrastructure that protects and enhances surface transportation assets. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants include states, political subdivisions of a state and local governments, metropolitan planning organizations, a special purpose district or public authority with a transportation function, Indian tribes, a Federal land management agency that applies jointly with a State or group of States, and a multiState or multijurisdictional group of entities. Applicants pursuing funding under the “At-Risk Coastal Infrastructure Grants” category must be located in a state bordering on, the Atlantic, Pacific, or Arctic Ocean, the Gulf of America, Long Island Sound, or one or more of the Great Lakes.
