FY 2025 Restoring Reliability: Coal Recommissioning and Modernization
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to catalyze the recommissioning, retrofitting, and strategically repurposing of coal-fired generation assets to offer the fastest and most cost-effective path to restoring energy stability while supporting the nation’s industrial and security priorities.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible entities vary by project topic area but generally include domestic U.S. entities that own or operate coal-fired generation assets
- TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $525 million

U.S. National Science Foundation
FY 2027 Advanced Technological Education (ATE)
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the education of science and engineering technicians for the high-technology fields that drive the nation's economy at the undergraduate and secondary-school levels.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible entities are two- and four-year institutions of higher education, nonprofit and non-academic organizations, for-profit organizations, local and state governments, and American Indian or Alaskan Native tribes, bands, nations, pueblos, villages, or communities.
