FY 2025 Disaster Supplemental Grant Program
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will help communities and regions devise and implement long-term economic recovery strategies through a variety of non-construction and construction projects to address economic challenges in areas where a Presidential declaration of a major disaster occurring in calendar years 2023 and 2024 was issued.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? District organizations of EDA-designated economic development districts (EDDs); Indian tribes or consortia of tribes; states, counties, cities, or other political subdivisions of a state; institutions of higher education or consortia of institutions of higher education; and public or private nonprofit organizations or associations
- TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $1,447,000,000
- WHEN IS IT DUE? March 3, 2026 (Industry Transformation); Rolling (Readiness and Implementation)

FY 2025 Unleashing American Energy Dominance and Expediting Responsible and Secure U.S. Small Modular Reactor Deployment through the FIRST Program
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to empower potential nuclear energy newcomer countries (and current nuclear energy states with small modular reactor (SMR) deployment interests) to prioritize responsible, U.S.-aligned nuclear security, nonproliferation, and safety standards from the outset as key decisional criteria when evaluating civil nuclear reactor technologies, to include SMRs and other advanced reactor designs.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? U.S. for-profit organizations or businesses; U.S.-based and foreign-based non-profit/non-governmental organizations; U.S.-based and foreign-based institutions of higher education; Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs); Public International Organizations (PIO); and Foreign Public Entities (FPE)
- TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $19.5 million
- WHEN IS IT DUE? July 30, 2025

FY 2026 Bridge Investment Program: Large Bridge Projects
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program awards funds on a competitive basis for bridge replacement, rehabilitation, preservation, and protection projects with total eligible costs greater than $100 million.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States or groups of states, metropolitan planning organizations that serve an urbanized area (as designated by the Bureau of the Census) with a population over 200,000, local governments or groups of local governments, political subdivisions of states or local governments, special purpose districts or public authorities with transportation functions, federal land management agencies, tribal governments or an consortium of tribal governments, and multistate or multijurisdictional groups of entities as described above
- TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $2.46 billion
- WHEN IS IT DUE? August 1, 2025
