FY 2025 Expanding Strategies for Community Evidence-Based Falls Prevention Programming
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to reduce falls and/or falls risk among older adults 60 years as well as adults with disabilities, with the majority focus on older adults in greatest economic need and/or greatest social need, through the implementation of evidence-based falls prevention programs (EBFPPs) with a person-centered approach.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, Native American tribal organizations and federally recognized governments, public/Indian housing authorities, local governments and special districts, nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, independent school districts, and institutions of higher education
- TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $2.5 million
- WHEN IS IT DUE? August 15, 2025

FY 2025 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Program
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program assists state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency management agencies with implementing the National Preparedness System (NPS) and supporting the National Preparedness Goal of a secure and resilient nation.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants are state administrative agencies (SAAs) and state emergency management agencies (EMAs) in all 56 U.S. states and territories. Local governments may apply as a sub-applicant through their state specific process.
- TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $319.5 million
- WHEN IS IT DUE? August 11, 2025

FY 2025 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP)
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to enhance the capabilities of state, local, tribal, and territorial governments, as well as nonprofits, in preventing, protecting against, and responding to terrorist attacks.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants are the State Administrative Agencies (SAA). SAAs distribute HSGP funds through subawards to other states, local, or tribal organizations. Eligible subrecipients include county-level or equivalent governments and federally recognized tribal governments in states bordering Canada or Mexico, or those with international water borders.

FY 2025 National Urban Search and Rescue Response System Readiness Cooperative Agreement
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the sustainment and readiness of the National Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Response System and its local jurisdictions. This program provides funding to ensure adequate management, training, exercise, vehicle and equipment procurement, and storage and maintenance for the 28 national US&R task forces staffed and equipped to assist state and local governments, tribes, and territories to conduct around-the-clock search-and-rescue operations following presidentially declared major disasters or emergencies under the Stafford Act, such as earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, aircraft accidents, hazardous materials spills, and catastrophic structure collapses.

FY 2025 Increasing Availability of Medical Forensic Examinations for Victims of Sexual Assault
- WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to establish or expand Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SANE/SAFE) programs to provide trauma-informed medical forensic examinations and victim services in a variety of settings. Award recipients will offer direct victim services in the form of trauma-informed medical forensic examinations and post-assault victim services.
- WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State governments, units of local government, special district governments, Native American tribal governments, public, state-controlled, or private institutions of higher education, and nonprofit organizations
- TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $3.5 million
